Body Mass Index Calculator
Your Body Mass Index, or BMI, is a way to measure your body fat based on your height and weight. The higher your BMI, the more your risk goes up for certain conditions including heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, breathing issues and certain cancers.
Support Groups
Losing weight is easier when you have the support of people dealing with issues similar to yours. St. Elizabeth Physicians offers several support group options if you are a medical weight-loss participant and pre- and post-surgery support groups if you are going through the surgical weight-loss program.
To find a meeting or learn more about support groups, please contact us at (859) 212-4625 and select option #2.
Food Journal Template
Keeping a food journal can boost your weight-loss success rate and help you gain a true picture of the food and portions you eat each day. The team at St. Elizabeth Physicians Weight Management Center has developed a Patient Food and Activity Log that will help you log the food you eat, how hungry you were during the meal or snack and what you were doing while eating.
