Acne

Acne occurs when sebum, dead skin cells and bacteria clog hair follicles, causing them to become inflamed.

Some of the effective treatment options we offer for acne include:

  • Oral and topical acne medications.
  • Anti-androgen agents for female hormonal acne.
  • Antibiotics.
  • Tretinoin cream.
  • Extraction facials.
  • Blue Light therapy (photodynamic therapy).

  • Intense pulsed light (IPL).

Atopic Dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis is the most common form of eczema. The condition causes dry, itchy skin rashes and blisters. Although atopic dermatitis isn’t life-threatening, it can cause bleeding, infections and scarring from scratching.

Atopic dermatitis can’t be cured, but it can be managed. We offer skin care products and medications that:

  • Reduce itching.
  • Calm skin inflammation.
  • Improve the appearance of rashes and blisters.
  • Intense pulsed light (IPL).

Moles

Moles are brown or black growths on the skin. Although most moles are harmless, they can become cancerous.

Schedule regular appointments to have your moles checked for changes that indicate cancer. If a mole looks cancerous or is cancerous, we can remove it.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic condition that causes itchy red or white patches on the skin. It is an autoimmune disease and is not contagious. Psoriasis occurs in cycles, with flare-ups followed by remissions.

There is no cure for psoriasis, but we can help you manage the symptoms with a combination of therapies, including:

  • Topical and oral prescription medicines.
  • Phototherapy (ultraviolet light therapy).
  • Biologics.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a common skin condition that causes red facial skin. Rosacea is not contagious.

Rosacea has no cure, but it can be managed with a skin care routine, oral antibiotics and topical medications. Laser or intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments can also help improve the appearance of the skin in more severe cases.

Other symptoms include:

  • Acne-like bumps.

Our specialists perform preventive procedures and in-office biopsies. We have access to every treatment option for all types of skin cancer—from curettage and desiccation for smaller tumors to surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy for larger tumors.

Warts

Warts are small, usually skin-colored growths caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). They are usually harmless but may spread from person to person (though this is not common).

You can treat warts on your hands and feet at home with over-the-counter products. If these products don’t work or a wart is painful or located on the genitalia, make an appointment with us.

We offer several treatment options, including stronger prescription treatments, cryotherapy (freezing the wart off), electrosurgery (burning the wart off) and laser treatment.
