About Us
Journey Recovery Center (JRC) provides the gold standard of treatment for substance use disorders (SUD).
JRC is designed to assist individuals out of substance use disorder and onto a pathway to wellness. JRC staff have provided services to an average of 1,500 individuals per year, accounting for nearly 33,000 office visits. Therapeutically, our goal is facilitating independence, short-term and long-term recovery support, and the rebuilding of lives and families.
JRC provides a continuum of patient-centered care to meet the socioeconomic and biopsychosocial needs of the individuals we serve using a multi-faceted approach including:
- Individual therapy.
- Targeted case management.
- Peer support outreach.
- Specialty group therapy (IOP, MAT, Recovery, Baby Steps Program for pregnant women with SUD).
- Recovery and crisis stabilization services (e.g., walk-ins).

MAT
For opioid use disorder and alcohol abuse, medications are available to assist the patents as they transition from active use (withdrawal).
MAT with CBT
Cognitive Behavior Therapy, one-on-one and in groups, assists patients to understand their disease and learn management techniques.
MAT with CBT and Wraparound
Adding wrap-around services augments the other two elements with life skills, education, and/or vocation training, legal services, personal appearance, building self-worth.

Journey Recovery Center Awarded 3-Year CARF Accreditation
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Internationa
l announced our Journey Recovery Center has received a Three-Year Accredited for its Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program. This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.
